In Victory City, this 90% of trash will be eliminated before it ever gets started, because the apartments will have no kitchens, and the one large kitchen on the first floor will be using permanent type containers to process, cook and serve the fresh vegetables, meats, fruits and dairy products coming to Victory City each day. Whatever temporary containers that may be used will be recycled to recover the metal and glass contents. Having all the trash thus concentrated in one area will make the recycling process and general trash disposal easy and efficient. Uneaten food scraps will be fed to farm animals on Victory City farmland or ground up and used as fertilizer. No Cemeteries Land is too precious in support of life and the living to waste it on the dead. Therefore, Victory City will have no cemeteries. Bodies will be cremated or sent to a cemetery in an obsolete city for burial, per the deceased's wishes. An additional benefit to this setup is that the extravagant, ever-increasing cost of funerals, as people compete to make them more lavish, could be eliminated.
